Project Description
Casne Engineering was chosen by the Port of Tacoma to design the installation of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment for 12 electric vehicles. In the design process, consideration was given to the administration building's proximity to the water. The project involved creating CAD plan views, electrical layouts, and equipment inventory, with specifications for Level 2 Chargers at 32 amps. Casne performed a thorough site investigation to find the best solutions based on existing infrastructure and the client's requirements. They also made use of the existing utility service, collaborated with Tacoma Power, and implemented plans for site grounding and equipment protection against corrosion.
